Traditional techniques, a contemporary sensibility, an innovative use of colour and the use of natural materials are the hallmarks of designer Neeru Kumar’s work. For hand woven textiles, Neeru Kumar is unquestionably one of the best and most creative designers in India. Her repertoire consists of two principle ranges: textiles for the home and garments for women and men, both traditional and western. The range includes: bedcovers, cushion covers, throws & wall hangings and accessories such as shawls & scarves along with an extensive range of garments which are either woven, printed or embroidered. Neeru Kumar markets its own products through nationwide established boutiques with shops in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur and Chennai under the brand name of ‘Tulsi’.
