TUPO

TUPO (meaning “we are in “implying inclusion) is a registered NGO under Tanzania NGO policy with registration number OONGO/R4464 which focuses on promoting women, youth, and children’s welfare. The organisation was founded in 2016 by a Social worker who worked voluntarily. Since its inception, TUPO engaged in a technical advisory on social economic development, mentoring, and psycho-social support applying constellation as the organizing principle to serve women, children, youth, and the community. VISION TUPO envisions a society where children, youth and women enjoy livelihood opportunities for their wellbeing. MISSION TUPO contributes to improving child, youth, and women welfare through policy and community engagement, community economic empowerment, and institutionalization of strategies to prevent, rescue, rehabilitate and integrate mechanisms for vulnerable and affected children, youth, and women. TUPO’s thematic focus is to promote child, youth, and women’s development across the country with special attention to children, youth, and women living with disabilities.  Our key focus areas include:  Enhance Women’s socio-economic development.  Promote Child and Youth Development.  Community empowerment.  Institutional strengthening. TUPO’s geographical working coverage regions include all Tanzania mainland regions however initial organization interventions covered Arusha and Mbeya (sub-office) regions.
