Türkiye Turing ve Otomobil Kurumu, 6 Kasım 1923’te Cumhuriyetimizin ilk sivil toplum kuruluşu olarak “Türk Seyyahin Cemiyeti” adıyla Reşit Saffet Atabinen öncülüğünde kurulmuştur. Türkiye’de turizmin kalkınmasını sağlamak; otomobil, eğitim ve kültür-sanat alanlarında faaliyetler yürütmek ve desteklemek amacıyla 98 yıldır kamu yararına çalışmaktadır.
