Turnkey STEAM Labs provides the technology, tools, strategy and support to implement STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) Labs in K-12th grade schools at scale. As the world changes with new businesses and technologies, there is a need for a different type of education. To prepare our students to become the entrepreneurs of tomorrow, it is essential that we help them to develop skills that embrace creativity, risk and ambiguity. STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. A STEAM Lab provides a space for students to innovate, safely fail (and learn from those failures), create solutions to real world problems and get exposure to new tools and technologies. Turnkey STEAM Labs curates the top technology and tools, strategic partnerships, implementation, support and professional development. Our solution is based on expertise, platform, passion, collaboration, equity and sustainability. We work with sponsors to provide resources and make an impact on K-12th grade students and communities. Our sponsors and partners help to build an awareness and pipeline for STEAM careers while empowering and engaging students (especially girls). Sponsors often provide mentoring and enjoy volunteer opportunities with the students. We make implementing a STEAM Lab easy, cost-effective and turnkey, so school districts, administrators, teachers and organizations can focus on providing the opportunity for K-12th grade students to develop the skills around student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking.
