TVASurg (Toronto Video Atlas of Surgery)

TVASurg is a free online video atlas of surgical procedures annotated with accurate, patient-specific 3D anatomical reconstructions. We help surgeons teach using award-winning surgical videos, interactive modules and VR content. The Toronto Video Atlas of Liver, Pancreas, Biliary, and Transplant Surgery launched in 2011 with a small selection of HPB and transplant cases. Since 2016, we have released a new case every month, totalling about 65 cases and counting. In 2018, with the addition of obstetrics and gynaecology procedures, we rebranded ourselves as “The Toronto Video Atlas of Surgery”. Our new brand reflects our ultimate goal for the Atlas - to expand to become a video atlas of all surgical specialities. We are excited for the opportunities to collaborate with surgeons who share our values and passion for surgical education.
