TVtakeaways is an app embedded in Samsung and LG built around the TV remote bringing local takeaways to the big screen with images in full HD and easy ordering directly from the TV. The App taps into the increasing number of users (3m weekly for Samsung) accessing smart apps like Netflix and BBC iPlayer. Based in London, the app offers food from wood fired pizza company Basilico as well as a choice of Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Turkish and American restaurants.
