Tibetan Women's Association of Ontario

Tibetan Women’s Association of Ontario (TWAO) is a non-profit organization, solely dependent on dedicated and committed volunteers that serve as board members or general service volunteers. Our mission is to empower Tibetan women, youth and seniors through means of education, awareness and inclusive campaign. Through providing a platform to undertake an active role in the community, we develop and empower women, children, youth and their families to become actively engaged citizens within the community. We promote intergenerational learning and sharing of information, as well embrace seniors as an active member of the community. TWAO Primary Goals: -> Empower women and youth -> Bridging the gap between senior and youth through cultural preservation and intergenerational information sharing -> Promotion of health & fitness -> Raising awareness on importance of cultivating strong mental health
