TWAS Theatre

TWAS Theatre is an emerging theatre company based in Colchester. TWAS exists to create learning opportunities for young people in Essex and its surrounding areas. The company’s tag is ‘Educating Through Theatre', in the sense that every theatrical project we create has educational value. TWAS Theatre is a producing theatre company; creating transformative touring productions. We strive to create a memorable and enriching experience for all audiences and participants of TWAS productions. TWAS Theatre also runs half-term workshops for children using originally adapted versions of classic stories and is working with new playwrights on new material. TWAS was founded by homegrown Colchester actors Matthew Jewson and Jenna Saiz, both with established international touring credits in theatre in education and Shakespeare.
