Twogere

Twogere, a grassroots organization working to close the mental health treatment gap by strengthening community-based systems, with a focus on youth. We place youth leadership and lived experience at the center of mental health system reform, building cross-sectoral partnerships to drive lasting, community-rooted change. Our mission is guided by four strategic priorities. We challenge stigma and raise mental health awareness to foster acceptance and understanding. We integrate mental health into health and local systems to ensure sustainable, accessible care. We build culturally grounded, locally led community support networks. And we empower young people with life skills, psychosocial support, and leadership opportunities.
