Philosophy Statement: The School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology faculty believe it is essential to provide opportunities for students to gain a rich and varied philosophical, educational, and scientific background to guide their work as professionals and their contributions as world citizens. Central to this philosophy is assisting students in developing their critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities through studies related to the science of health and human movement. The faculty also believe they have the responsibility to provide effective academic advisement to students and facilitate their satisfactory completion of program requirements.
