An organization established to promote entrepreneurial development of previously disadvantaged women.
The Women in Water Infrastructure and Construction - SA (TWWIC-SA) was founded in 2017 to empower women to gain access to contracts, training programmes, finance and network in the Built Environment.
The Built Environment role players, stakeholders and Associations were gathered for a National workshop at the University of Pretoria on the 11th June 1997 where the mandate was given to initiatives like TWWIC-SA to go ahead with the main objective of empowering women in the Built Environment.
