Texas Christian Recovery and Other Support Services, Inc. (TXCROSS), at the peak of a recession, when the U.S. had lost more than 8 million jobs, made its bold debut in 2007. Based in Austin, Texas, this faith-based, for-profit, social and minority business enterprise, serves as a catalyst for systemic change. One of its many goals is to strengthen educational and social service delivery systems. It believes in strengthening families and promoting respect for human dignity and life. Its doors are open to the churched and un-churched, probationers or not, substance abusers or not; simply whosoever in the community. The entity is committed to assisting this population by providing viable Life Skills Training to enhance: employability, relationship issues, and preservation of the family as a whole. It is a certified Minority, Women, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, and HUB.
