Type 1 BETTER is a patient-oriented scientific project bringing together people who live with type 1 diabetes (T1D) and parents of children with T1D (called patient partners), researchers, health professionals and decision-makers. Its mission is to better understand the lived experience of Canadians living with T1D, in order to improve their quality of life, the clinical practices and T1D treatments.
