The firm has been offering real estate consultancy services for the last Ninety-Seven (97) years to clients in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Seychelles, and as far as the Gambia in West Africa. Brief Company History: • 1923 - Established as a one-man business by George A. Tyson. • 1940 - Changed name to George A. Tyson and Partners. • 1946 - George A. Tyson elected the Mayor of Nairobi. • 1960 - Incorporated as a Limited Liability Company in the name TYSONS LIMITED. • 1972 - Demise of Mr. George A. Tyson • 1976 - Merger with Habenga Corporation to form Tysons Habenga Limited • 1985 - The Company’s name reverted to Tysons Limited. Currently, the company is owned by six directors and other professionals who are fully qualified real estate consultants and are all working on a full-time basis in the firm.
