Tzu Chi Foundation UK

Tzu Chi UK began in 1995 as a UK charity and the granted UK branch of the in trinational humanitarian organisation Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation. We are committed to emergency support, hardship companion, environmental awareness, and planet-friendly diet. The Tzu Chi Foundation was established in 1966 by Dharma Master Cheng Yen, on the resolution to alleviate suffering through Tzu Chi core Missions of Charity, Medicine, Education, and Humanistic Culture, which later extended to International Relief, Bone Marrow Registry, Community Volunteering, and Environmental Protection. Tzu Chi holds several accreditations, including from the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and UN Environment Program.
