About U-BASE
U-BASE, also known as United Building and Structural Engineering Association, is the student association for master students of Construction Materials and Structural Engineering at the Civil Engineering faculty of the Delft University of Technology. The main objective of U-BASE is to introduce students to the business environment of Civil Engineering practice in particular. To achieve this, we create and stimulate relations between students, the university and the construction industry by organising several activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, excursions to companies and interesting building projects several times a year, a study tour to a foreign country once a year, symposia, workshops and guest lectures and publishing our own magazine the ‘U-Profiel’.
