Genova. Il 12 agosto 1946, nello studio del notaio Bruzzone, nasce ufficialmente l'Unione Calcio Sampdoria. Il nuovo club vede la luce dalla fusione tra due società cittadine: la Ginnastica Comunale Sampierdarenese (1891) e la Ginnastica Andrea Doria (1895). Il rossonero sampierdarenese e il biancoblù doriano si fondono in una maglia blu fasciata di bianco, rosso, nero e bianco, con lo stemma di Genova cucito al centro del petto. Ha inizio così l'avventura calcistica della Sampdoria, dei suoi colori, della sua divisa blucerchiata, unica e originale, conosciuta, apprezzata e ammirata in ogni angolo del pianeta come simbolo di valori sani e puliti. Simbolo di una società vincente che in oltre 77 anni di storia ha conquistato 7 trofei e raggiunto 15 finali, portando in giro per l'Italia, per l'Europa e per il mondo intero simpatia, sportività e fair play.
The "Unione Calcio Sampdoria" was created on the 12th of August 1946 in the offices of the Genoese notary Bruzzone. The new Club was the result of the merger between two of the city's sports clubs: the "Ginnastica Comunale Sampierderenese" (1891) and the "Ginnastica Andrea Doria (1895). The black and red stripes of the first club and the latter's white and blue blend in a blue jersey were combined to form the Sampdoria colours: white, red, black and white stripes with the Genoese logo stitched in the middle of the chest. This is how Sampdoria's football history began with its colours and its unique and original blue striped shirt, that is admired and worshipped in every corner of the planet as a universal symbol of solid and authentic values. This jersey is the testimony of a winning Club that has won 7 trophies and reached 15 finals in 77 years of history, gaining popularity over time and bringing freshness, fair play and sportsmanship to Italy, Europe and the whole world.
