U.K. Training Academy (UKTA)

The overall mission of UKTA is to develop a sustainable teacher training culture across Sri Lanka, empowering South Asians to support the continued development of the education industry. We are approved teacher training course providers for Trinity College London, Cambridge Assessment English and are the official partners of Language Point and NILE-ELT. Our catalogue of courses includes CertTESOL, CertPT and DELTA amongst many others. UKTA can support you all the way through your professional development by helping you achieve internationally recognised qualifications. CertTESOL is a Trinity College London Level 5 accredited qualification and serves as an entry-level course for those wishing to become an English as a Second Language teacher. The Certificate for Practising Teachers (CertPT) is a level 6 accredited course, and the DELTA is a Level 7 course. All our courses are currently delivered online. We also have a range of other professional development courses available to improve your teaching excellence. UKTA also works with education partners in Sri Lanka to deliver education and skills training across the island. We have worked with British Council, National Institute for Language Education and Training (NILET), and Nimshin.
