We aspire to advance sustainability by empowering professionals to use critical resources responsibly through clever engineering and a heart for service. We collect and test spent lithium-ion batteries from professional users with the aim to repair or reuse their components. We offer service contracts to monitor battery packs during their first life ensure safe and reliable operation and optimal reuse and recycling at end-of-first-life. Ultimately we want to provide a Battery-as-a-Service model where professional organizations don't buy and discard batteries but instead rent battery capacity while U-Volt optimally manages and reuses the battery packs.
