Founded in 2015, UA3 is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to make a positive impact and lasting improvements in the underserved segments of our communities through channeling needed resources for the betterment of those in need, supporting the creation of socio-economic opportunities, youth empowerment, education, and promotion of health and mental health. UA3 strives to accomplish our goals through partnerships with public and private sectors, educational institutions, and community social and service organizations.
Our Community First Food Pantry was started as a response to the pandemic to address food insecurity in New York City. We provide fresh, healthy, and culturally appropriate food, as well as PPEs to our community members in need, regardless of their income, background, or circumstances. We also offer programs such as nutrition education, cooking classes, youth leadership development opportunities as well as referrals to other resources that can help our clients achieve greater wellbeing. Our Food Pantry is more than just a place to receive food; it is a community of caring and compassion that welcomes everyone with dignity and respect.
