Ukrainian Advocates’ Association

All-Ukrainian public organization "Association of Advocates of Ukraine" is an all-Ukrainian public non-profit organization founded on the basis of professional membership and uniting lawyers to promote the development and strengthening of the Bar Association in Ukraine, raising the level of legal assistance provided by lawyers, enhancing the role and authority of the Bar in society and satisfaction and protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the members of the Association. The Association is formed and operates with all-Ukrainian status. The activities of the Association extend to the territory of all Ukraine. The main principles of the Association's activities are: - rule of law; - priority of public interests; - independence; - apolitical; - professionalism; - equality of members; - Democracy; - voluntary; - justice; - activity; - publicity; - transparency and openness; - self-government. The Association is free to choose the directions of its activities within the limits stipulated by the current legislation of Ukraine and the Statute. PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION The main objective of the Association is to unite Ukrainian lawyers to promote the development and strengthening of the Bar Association in Ukraine, to increase the level of legal assistance provided by lawyers, to increase the role and authority of advocacy in society and to meet and protect the rights and legitimate interests of Association members.
