Welcome to the University of Alberta Dance Club. As the largest and oldest dance group on campus, our organization offers an extensive range of classes and activities. Regardless of your dancing ability, there is something in the club for you.
If you're interested in instruction, the club offers classes each week for nine weeks per term, ranging from beginner to advanced (Level 1 to level 3). Overall, our club teaches the 10 dances found in International Ballroom, including Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha, Jive, Rumba, Samba, and Paso Doble. We also teach the Salsa.
Wanting to meet new people? We offer some themed events like the Halloween Dance Party for those who like dressing up in costumes, a Valentine's Dance, and a formal ball in March.
