The University of Alabama Dance Marathon (UADM) is the largest student-run philanthropic organization at the University of Alabama. The purpose of UADM is to raise funds and awareness for Children's of Alabama, the only free-standing pediatric hospital in the state of Alabama.
We host a variety of events throughout the year to engage our campus and the Tuscaloosa community in support of our cause. Our events help us spread the word and raise awareness for who we are and what we do as we raise money, recruit new Miracle Makers, and interact with our Miracle Kids and Children's of Alabama. All of these events and fundraising lead up to our main event - BAMAthon, where we stand and fundraise for twelve hours in support of those who can't. Our staff, Miracle Makers, and Miracle Families all come together in support of our organization, and at the end of the day, we announce the total amount raised all year.
