United Arab Shipping Company Services Ltd. (USL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of UASC, co-owned by Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. USL is incorporated in the UAE as a company limited by shares under the aegis of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), with an authorized capital of USD 100 million. USL invests in specialized companies that cater to the needs of shipping and shipping-related industries, primarily in logistics, container management and shipping support. Investment is made through Mergers and Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Partnerships or as majority shareholders. USL brings over three decades of regional experience to bear on a diverse portfolio of projects in its chosen sectors, thanks to its financial strength and the support of a highly-skilled multi-national team To further its business objectives, USL has formed a fully-owned subsidiary in Dubai Maritime City UAE (USL DMCCO), to provide the operational vehicle structure required to manage its entities and work with business partners.
