BIoT is a UBC Engineering Design Team focused on integrating low-cost sensors and chemical assays with the home brewing process in order to create an automated brew process controlling key process parameters. Individual subteams are focused on refining the brew process, designing and integrating a sensor/automatic data analysis pipeline, and developing the assays needed to characterize the quality and characteristics of the final product.
