Founded in 1989 as the UBC Finance Club, the UBC Finance Association is a finance-oriented student organization at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver).
Our aim is to bridge the gap between students and the financial industry by providing our members with access to professional networking events, social gatherings, career building opportunities, as well as educational workshops and competitions. It is our hope to be able to build a community of likeminded members from all faculties who share a common passion and interest for learning about finance, no matter their level of knowledge.
Annual events include our Wine & Cheese, the National Investment Banking Competition & Conference, and the Pacific Venture Capital Competition & Conference.
