Überleben

Born from fire. The outdoors are simply a culmination of elements; earth, air, water, and fire. Through these experiences we develop a deeper connection with nature, and with ourselves. Überleben exists to simplify, slow down, and rekindle these meaningful relationships -- starting with fire. __________________________________ Our values. Less is more. Quality over quantity. Respect tradition, but always challenge it. And, fire is non-negotiable. Überleben is German word meaning "to survive" — and/or, "to live well". While those meanings appear the same, they're different. Yes, fire is essential to survival. However, "survival" is not the reason we run into the woods, alone. We’re doing this because something deep inside us is still whispering, “build fire or die”. Not in an attempt to escape physical death -- but psychological death. We long to live, not merely survive.
