Energy transition requires distributed renewable power generation, electrification with new level of loads (EV, heat pumps, electric cooking etc.), energy storage, demand response and flexibility.
Most of the renewable energy sources, battery storages and modern consumer electronics are DC native. This means it is reasonable to use efficient, smart and flexible DC Microgrids, instead of current AC grid, to increase system efficiency and stability, decrease the material usage (mostly copper) and CO2 footprint, make the demand flexible and responsive.
Smart modular power electronic converters are needed to enable efficient, reliable and safe connection and interaction of power generation, storage and consumption together.
We have in-house technology and competence to deliver smart, modular, galvanically-isolated, DC Microgrid compatible power electronic converters for PV, storage and fuel cell solutions. Our ultimate goal is to maximize the system efficiency, minimize the costs (CAPEX and OPEX), make system more safe, reliable, self-balancing and controllable.
We are a partner of Current OS Foundation (founded by Schneider Electric and Eaton) bringing DC microgrid solutions to the global market. We have the first Current OS grid protocol compatible DC microconverter for PV panels helping to increase the efficiency and boost the DC microgrids and usage of renewables.
Our S400 OptiVerter® DC microconverter enables fast and efficient integration of photovoltaic modules and fuel cells into residential and small-commercial DC microgrids.
