The School of Management Minority Alliance is an organization that aims to develop minority students pursuing a career in management, while promoting unity, equality, and academic excellence. The business world is becoming more dynamic and globalization is rapidly increasing. These changing trends provide for more opportunities for prospective candidates as well as opportunities for employers to leverage to maintain a competitive edge against rivals. Our goal is develop this pool of diverse talent so we can become a primary target for prospective recruitment in the future. More and more companies stress the importance of a diverse workforce in today’s competitive workforce; therefore, the opportunities are endless. Our organization plans to achieve our goals by providing our members with unique workshops, events, and networking opportunities that can be utilized to help our members reach their potential and stand out amongst their peers.
