UBUCHANGE is a social enterprise reshaping the future of work in Africa by empowering refugees and disadvantaged youth through innovation, Salespreneurship, and cultural pride. Inspired by the Swahili word “UBUNIFU” (creativity and innovation), UBUCHANGE transforms underserved individuals into Salespreneurs, self-reliant business leaders who earn income by promoting and distributing refugee-made and African-made products locally and globally. Through our hybrid dropshipping and direct selling model, we offer access to business training, digital tools, and a supportive ecosystem. Our Salespreneurs operate as mobile shops, using social media and our e-commerce platform to boost visibility and sales for refugee makers and small brands. UBUCHANGE is more than a business, it’s a social marketplace where every product tells a story of resilience, culture, and impact. By 2030, we aim to empower 10,000+ people with sustainable income opportunities and become East Africa’s leading platform for socially impactful, refugee-made products.
