UCalgary Bioinformatics Club

Bioinformatics is the analysis and interpretation of biological data. It is an interdisciplinary study that encompasses many fields of science, including computer science, statistics, genomics, and mathematics, among many others. We hope to capture and cultivate your interests here! The Bioinformatics Club stems from the University of Calgary with the initiative to foster a community of scientists with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of expertise. We pursue this goal by hosting industry nights, research opportunities, workshops, just to name a few! There is much to discover in bioinformatics, and we look forward to connecting with you all!
