UCARE is dedicated to enriching the lives of vulnerable children and youth in Ukraine with hope, love and inspiration through impactful programs.
UCARE started as a compassion-driven passion project dedicated to organizing U.S. efforts to support vulnerable Ukrainian children. Since our founding in 1997, UCARE has grown to conducting and sponsoring Ukrainian educational programming, therapeutic camps and activities - all while upholding our original mission!
UCARE has successfully organized over 50 adaptive camps, providing a respite to children in crisis situations. We’ve reached over 200 children through Healing Through Art and other creative mental health initiatives, and we’ve delivered vital education and mentoring to orphans and at-risk youth.
At UCARE, we support youth throughout their journey from childhood into adulthood by providing mentorship, educational support, and developmental support. To us, success is a happy, healthy, hope-filled child.
Given the ongoing impact of the War in Ukraine, UCARE continues to focus our efforts on creating hopeful futures for orphaned children, the children of soldiers, and internally displaced children, with an emphasis on girls and young women.
