UCC Masters Hearing Balance Communication

MSc Hearing, Balance and Communication is a postgraduate degree within the department of Audiology at UCC. The mission of the programme is to engage a diverse group of multi-disciplinary professionals in expanding and progressing their professional capacities in the areas of hearing, balance, and communication in order to contribute to improved care of patients and their families. This is achieved using an interdisciplinary approach with expert facilitators from a wide range of disciplinary and clinical backgrounds both nationally and internationally. If you are an Allied Health Professional looking to progress your career, this may be just for you. It is the only degree of its kind in Ireland and has specifically been developed to suit busy professionals. It is a part time programme which takes place over 2 years with a hybrid delivery. Our past and current students have included participants from around Europe, making this suitable to global applicants. A combination of 4 core modules, a research project and 4 elective modules, allows students to tailor their studies to their own professional and personal interests. If you are not able to commit to a postgraduate degree, we also offer all of our modules as CPD courses through both credit bearing and non-credit bearing routes.
