At IEEE Student Branch at University College Dublin, we value on enabling engineering students to acquire technical and career-related skills that extend beyond their academic endeavours.
Throughout the academic year, the electrical and electronic engineering society (ElecSoc) organizes a diverse range of activities these include information sessions and Tech talks featuring professionals from industry, food and coffee gatherings with peers, and workshops to enhance students resumes and interview skills. Moreover, we conduct a series of technical workshops with varying levels of expertise, enabling students to develop or improve relevant engineering competencies.
Additionally, IEEE at UCD manages a number of long-term academic projects in different fields, offering students the opportunity to acquire practical, hands-on project experience by collaborating with their fellow engineering students.
