Pacific Islander Student Association (PISA) at UC Davis

The purpose of PISA is to advocate for the needs of Pacific Islander students, foster a sense of community, and establish an affinity on-campus for Pasifika students in the diaspora at the University of California, Davis. PISA hopes to embrace and empower Pacific Islander culture and identity through community building activities, professional development workshops, events to raise awareness on Pacific Islander issues, academic enrichment, and other programs with the sole objective to represent and uplift the Pacific Islander students at UC Davis. Our goal is to develop, in us, and in cooperation with other organizations and PISA chapters, programs offering cultural, social, professional or enrichment experiences as a part of the total experience of Pacific Islander students in higher education. We seek to create future leaders with an insightful heart for the progress of Pasifika people in the diaspora and the total picture of human existence.
