UCD Sailing Club

University College Dublin Sailing Club, more commonly known as UCDSC, is Ireland’s top University sailing team with strong performances both at nationally and internationally. We are an entirely student run organisation that focuses on competing at the highest possible level and promos the sport of Sailing throughout the UCD Community and Ireland. Our club is mixed gender and we put a big emphasis on Women at the Helm. UCDSC have over 200 active members and many active alumni. The club was founded in 1948, we have a long history and culture of fostering athletic success both at home and abroad. UCD Sailing is a very diverse club and we welcome sailors of all levels from beginners to olympians. We focus on team racing, however, we also train and compete in Match Racing and Fleet Racing in Keelboats too.
