Udayan Shalini Fellowship programme (USF) of Udayan Care is a unique academic excellence and personality development programme for deserving and talented girls from weak socio-economic background aiming to turn them into empowered and dignified women or Shalinis. It is unique because it goes beyond being a usual scholarship programme by not only supporting higher education but also providing regular mentoring and leadership development and inculcating a sense of social responsibility in them. The Udayan Care Kolkata Chapter which started in 2007 has inducted close to 3000 Shalinis since inception and the Chapter’s Shalini family has consistently grown by 25% every year. Located on Theatre Road and spread across an area of fully air conditioned 2600 sqft, the state-of-the-art centre comes with an AV integrated auditorium / classroom, computer lab, mentoring rooms, conference room to facilitate trainings and workshops amidst a modern tech. based learning infrastructure.
