The School of Business & Leadership at the University of Charleston focuses on providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today's fast-changing business world. All of our business and leadership academic programs with graduates earned full specialized business accreditation by the the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) as of November 17, 2021. Our academic programs and faculty have met rigorous educational standards that align with Malcolm Baldrige quality criteria. The School of Business is distinguished by how it takes advantage of its location in the capital city of West Virginia, Charleston. This positioning allows UC to engage its students as partners in the learning process with top-level executives from national, regional, and local firms. Students build extensive business networks that include CEOs, CFOs, and other officers from diverse industries who regularly serve as speakers, mentors, and experiential placement supervisors.
