Founded in 2004, UD Lestari Jaya strives to continue to be a business that adheres to the principles of sustainability and loyalty. We strive through the Founder’s Commitment statement to be implemented into all of our business processes, namely continuous research, continuous improvement, zero waste, community development, and active participation in climate change issues. UD Lestari Jaya has a simple mission: to bring fresh, healthy ingredients and processed foods to the world. Since the Flour milling industry was established in 2004, it has grown from simply renting a mill to finally owning a mill, while the milling capacity grew from 40 MT/day to a large capacity now of 80 MT/day. UD Lestari Jaya’s vision is to become a world-class company leading and developing by maintaining a balance of natural resources and a sustainable environment and playing an active role in community empowerment efforts. We use some of our profits for climate action, with at least 10% of company profits going to fund tree-planting projects in Indonesia. We plant in 10+ Sub-Districts and Districts across Indonesia with local organizations. We have a goal that our business is not only seeking profit but also being part of the community empowerment movement and the promotion of Indonesia’s natural resources, namely cassava so that it is better known throughout the world. Through this profile, we are committed to improving each of our business processes and always writing it down in a sustainability report for the coming period.
