The acquisition extends the capability of OneAccess to enable cloud services on behalf of fixed, mobile, and satellite operators. OneAccess plans to deliver powerful visibility, control, application acceleration and compression capabilities both as part of new product development, and as firmware upgrades for the hundreds of thousands of multi-service access routers already deployed by leading service providers worldwide. UDcast is now a subsidiary of OneAccess, specializing in bandwidth optimization. It will continue to serve existing satellite customers, as well as exploring new WAN optimization opportunities in terrestrial or wireless markets and OEM.
