Research Center for Sustainable Circular Economy is hosted at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). It is multidisciplinary in scope and has the following research and education activities: Research: - Context sensitive research in close collaboration with companies and public and third sector partners - Produce actionable research to catalyze sustainability transition through circular economy - Cross-disciplinary understanding to support implementation of circular economy in society Education: - Coordinates a multidisciplinary course on “Sustainable Business and Society” at the UEF - Sustainability frameworks in the operations of public, private and third sector organizations - Business responsibility and sustainable businesses - Societal discourse on sustainability and green economy
