Uma Educational & Technical Society (UETS), Kakinada, has been a leading Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, for the past 36 years. Our mission is to provide specialized education and rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities (Divyangjan). At UETS, we pride ourselves on having a team of highly trained and experienced faculty. Our infrastructure includes well-structured and well-maintained buildings, a playground equipped with various play equipment, and other essential facilities. Our centres are dedicated to ensure that the persons with disabilities are leading a better quality life through a wide range of services and initiatives: • Screening and Assessment • Early Identification & Intervention • Special Education • Vocational Training • Speech Therapy • Physiotherapy • Psychological Intervention • Music & Yoga Therapy • Co-Curricular Activities • Parent Counselling and Guidance With our comprehensive approach and commitment to excellence, UETS has been honored with 3 State Awards and 6 National Awards. Over our 36 years of service, we have successfully executed 14 different projects aimed at creating a barrier-free environment and ensuring empowerment for persons with disabilities and their families.
