UF CARD SERVICES INCLUDE: • 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 with information about our services, an overview of autism and related disabilities, etc. • 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 for diagnosis, support groups, community services (i.e. agencies, doctors, therapists, etc.) • 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 with books and videos on topics related to autism and related disabilities • 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 for children and adults with autism and related disabilities, siblings, and parents/caregivers • 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗯 with materials for developing schedules, communication boards, social stories, etc. • 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲, 𝗲𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 to share information about upcoming trainings and conferences • 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 via email or telephone • 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 (short-term) appropriate to home, school, or community upon request • 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 on a variety of topics including instructional methods, communication, social skills, behavior, home/school/community issues, and adult life issues. Many trainings are available online as well as in-person and some are archived on our website for viewing on your schedule. • 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 to determine if further evaluation is warranted • 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 featuring nationally recognized speakers held each January(scholarships may be available for CARD constituents and their parents/guardians) CARD 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 provide services such as therapy, ongoing behavioral interventions, diagnosis, or respite care.
