UG EXIM

UG EXIM aims to bolster export growth by making returnable resources available to the private sector. These resources support various aspects of the export process, including invoice factoring, working capital, recapitalisation, research and development, and value addition. The fund primarily focuses on tourism and agriculture, with special emphasis on coffee, dairy, fruits, and vegetables. By addressing funding gaps, stabilising supply chains, and enhancing access to market information, UG EXIM aims to transform Uganda’s export trajectory and generate an additional $6 billion (approximately UGX22.4 trillion) in exports over the next five years.
