UGA HEROs strives to improve the quality of life for the 12,000 children in Georgia affected by HIV/AIDS by raising money to support the programs offered by H.E.R.O. for Children, Inc., spreading awareness about the growing problem of pediatric AIDS, and combating the stigma of this disease.
With more than 2,000 students in our organization annually, our vision for the future is to not only continue to grow in members and fundraising but also to increase awareness of our cause across the state of Georgia. We strive to find the value in every member and to make every dollar count toward improving the quality of life of our wonderful HERO kids. Our vision is to continue impacting our campus, community, and children.
