Ugani Foundation

The Ugani Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀, in low and middle income countries. We were born from the company Ugani Prosthetics, which provides low-cost prosthetics and training on how to make and use them. However, despite our close relationship, the Ugani Foundation and Ugani Prosthetics are two distinct entities with separate missions and goals. At the Ugani Foundation, we focus on three pillars to empower amputees: 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗶𝗱, 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. While Ugani Prosthetics focuses on the technical side and develops products, our aim is to provide the necessary resources and assistance to 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, to help them close the current gaps in amputee healthcare. With the freedom to 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀, the Ugani Foundation is able to be highly flexible and responsive to the changing needs of amputees.
