The Ugani Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to ๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐, in low and middle income countries. We were born from the company Ugani Prosthetics, which provides low-cost prosthetics and training on how to make and use them. However, despite our close relationship, the Ugani Foundation and Ugani Prosthetics are two distinct entities with separate missions and goals.
At the Ugani Foundation, we focus on three pillars to empower amputees: ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฑ, ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐. While Ugani Prosthetics focuses on the technical side and develops products, our aim is to provide the necessary resources and assistance to ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐๐ฎ๐น๐, ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฝ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐, to help them close the current gaps in amputee healthcare.
