The joint stock companies Sensum Grupa and UGN form a multisectoral holding, which is a share owner in a number of companies founded more than 25 years ago – coinciding the regaining of independence of Latvia. Most of the companies are related to the construction industry. The joint-stock companies were founded at the end of 2016 with the aim of establishing a holding with a unified legal structure and uniting a group of companies that had formed over a quarter of a century. The group is based on the ambition to create a large, united and more competitive group of companies in the construction market, implementing common principles of corporate governance, innovation and technology development, as well as shaping a united long-term strategy. The largest construction companies in the holding are Arčers Ltd, Arčers SK Ltd, Road Construction Company Binders Ltd, Woltec Ltd, RECK Ltd, Limbažu Ceļi Ltd, Aizputes ceļinieks Ltd, Transparence Ltd, SAFE Ltd and others, which are partly of wholly owned by the holding. Outside of the construction sector, the holding implements a multidisciplinary investment policy and has been successful in developing information and technology brands such as Aerones, Files.fm and others.
