Poets' Association of Uganda - PAU

The Poets' Association of Uganda (PAU) is an Umbrella body that brings together over 32 poetry groups, clubs, labels, poetry companies, poetry houses and their associated members in Uganda. We also create room for independent poets (no belonging to any club) through advocacy and promotion of all kinds of poetry as an art form. Founded in 2020 we have since been working to grow the poetry art form, nurturing unity among poets of diverse forms, cultivating culture and language while supporting the professional development of poets and their poetry products.
