Our mission at UGT is to accelerate change in Indian agriculture by creating an end-to-end stack for the mechanisation of farms that increases farm power and productivity while increasing income for small and marginal farmers. Our focus is to Mechanise, Digitise and Decentralise farm power to drive long-term growth for India’s agricultural community. India is home to over 14 crore landholdings, out of which 85% are covering less than 2 acres. Despite the large number of small and marginal farmers (those with less than 1 acres), there remains a significant gap in the availability of affordable and suitable mechanisation solutions. Many farmers still rely on traditional methods such as manual labour and draught animals, while agricultural workers increasingly migrate to urban areas for better prospects. At UGT, we aim to bridge this gap by providing high-quality, durable and cost-effective farm equipment that is both reliable and accessible. Our focus includes digitising distribution, ensuring quick spare-parts delivery, and providing timely maintenance and service through a user-friendly digital interface. With a strong emphasis on customer feedback, we continue to innovate to deliver the best solutions for India’s farmers. In the next 5 years, UGT aims to equip 1 million farmers with tools that boost productivity while promoting sustainable farming practices.
