UH Nasha

UH Nasha is a non-profit intercollegiate dance competition featuring Bollywood Fusion dance teams from universities across the nation. Teams perform annually at our University for the respective first, second, and third place prizes. Now in its sixteenth year, Nasha hopes to continue putting on an enjoyable show for the community. The showcase is presented by a student led body of approximately 20 individuals who organize the event every anually. Each year Nasha continues to grow, bringing in roughly 1500 audience members and playing host to a packed auditorium. We strive to spread the influence of South Asian culture throughout the Houston area while providing an entertaining event. Over the last decade, Nasha has grown into a marquee event among the local South Asian community as well as the students attending the University of Houston.
